How long do I have access to these videos?
How does FOREVER sound?? Unlike Netflix, we will NEVER remove videos from your library. As long as you're a paying member in good standing, you have lifetime access to all the videos at ClaritasU.
However, if you decide to cancel your account, or stop paying the membership fee, you will lose access to any and all videos.
Can my family members log in to my account?
Sure! While your account is technically meant for personal access, you do have permission to share it with your spouse or any children in your home.
However, keep in mind that several features will be compromised when sharing an account with other people, such as your progress tracking, saved favorites, and community discussion. Your data will be all mixed altogether, which makes it a less personalized experience for you.
Also, we can detect when multiple users log in to the same account from different locations, and if the account is abused, we will revoke access. But we trust you! Just keep your credentials secure, don't spread them beyond your household, and you won't have anything to worry about.
Can I share the videos with others?
You cannot share your login credentials with other people, but you can definitely play any video in person for them. So if you want to show it to a friend or family member, or play one of the videos for a group, go for it! Just be sure to log out afterwards. But there's no way to share the videos on social media or embed them on other websites.
How do I save and view favorite lessons?

How can I download the videos?
Unfortunately, you cannot download the videos. You can only stream them through the ClaritasU website. However, streaming is much faster and easier, and you can watch the videos on any device, any time, wherever you have Internet access.
How come this video is blurry?
All the videos at ClaritasU are filmed and displayed in high-quality HD. However, the video quality adjusts depending on your Internet speed and device. If a video looks blurry, there's a couple things you can try. First, try watching on a faster speed Internet connection. Second, click the "gear" icon at the bottom right of the video and increase the "Quality" value (1080p is full HD.)
How can I play the videos on my TV?
If you have a Smart TV that allows you to browse the Internet, just open up the browser, visit ClaritasU.com, and start watching! If not, you still have a couple options:
Option #1 - Connect your computer to your TV. Most newer laptops/desktops have an HDMI port, or an HDMI adaptor, that allows you to connect your computer to your TV through an HDMI cord (just like you'd connect a DVD or Blu-ray player to your TV.) Then just turn on your laptop, adjust the settings so your TV screen mirrors what's on your computer screen, go to ClaritasU.com, and voila! You can now see everything on your TV.
Option #2 - Purchase a Google Chromecast device ($35) which plugs into your TV, connects to the wireless Internet, and allows you to "cast" anything from the Google Chrome browser on your computer, phone, or tablet to your TV. In other words, it's similar to Option #1 except you don't have to connect your computer to your TV with an HDMI cord--the data streams from your device to your TV over the wireless Internet. Can I switch between the Student and VIP memberships?
You will have an opportunity down the line to upgrade your membership (Student → VIP) but we cannot downgrade it (VIP → Student). That's in fairness to the limited number of spots for the VIPs (we only opened up 100 VIP spots.) It wouldn't be fair to have you claim one of the VIPs spots and later downgrade when lots of others who missed out on VIP registration would have been happy to claim it and keep it.
How can I cancel my membership?
Oh no! So sorry to hear you want to cancel. If you're just having tech problems or specific issues, please reach out to our Support team and we'd love to help. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before cancelling, you'll want to keep three things in mind. First, if you cancel, you will no longer have access to any of the materials at ClaritasU. No more videos, no live training, no quick wins, no community discussion, nothing. Simply put, you'll stop getting clear about important issues.
Second, you will not be able to rejoin ClaritasU until the next open enrollment period. Since we only open enrollment twice each year, you will likely have to wait several months to rejoin.
Third, when you do rejoin, you will pay a much higher monthly fee than you're paying now. By joining ClaritasU early, you locked in a great low subscription rate. But if you cancel, you give up that early bird price. As the site continues to grow and add content, the price will increase with each enrollment period. That means when you try to rejoin, you'll have to pay the higher monthly price.
With those three things in mind, if you'd still like to cancel, just visit your My Account page, click the Subscriptions tab, and then click the Cancel link on the right side of the table.
